Senior Client Accountant (752) Permanent

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Client Accountant to join our clients growing Accounting Services team in Jersey, where you will play a key role in maintaining and managing the day-to-day accounting functions, making a significant impact within their global operations

• You will be the main contact for external auditors and work to strengthen relationships with clients, internal teams and service lines
• Additionally, you will review the work of bookkeepers and prepare annual financial statements and management accounts for your portfolio of clients
• Manage daily accounting tasks for a range of Global clients
• Assist with audit preparations, including VAT returns
• Tracking and monitoring the preparation of financial information
• Ensure accuracy with routine month end / quarter end management accounts preparation for a portfolio of clients
• Proactive identification of process improvement and service line development opportunities
• Carrying out all aspects of role in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and controls
• Support and mentor junior team members and take on additional tasks as needed

About You:

• We are seeking a qualified accountant with strong numerical and analytical skills coupled with a proactive mindset
• Proven experience in client accounting or accounts preparation, along with a diligent and organised approach to work
• Client-facing experience
• Knowledge in Real Estate, Private Wealth, Corporate, or Debt Capital Market accounting environments is desirable but not essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office packages
• Excellent communication and time management skills
