We are looking for an experienced Senior Client Accountant to join our Clients Accounting Services team in Jersey, playing a key role in managing and maintaining the day to day accounting functions of a varied client base.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Client Accountant, you will serve as the primary contact for external auditors and work to strengthen relationships with clients and internal teams.
You will review the work of bookkeepers and produce annual financial statements and management accounts for your allocated portfolio.
Additional responsibilities include:
Managing daily accounting activities for a range of Global clients
Supporting audit preparation and assisting with the management of audits
Monitoring and tracking the progress of financial information preparation
Preparing accurate routine month end and quarter end management accounts
Identifying opportunities for improvements in processes and service delivery
Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls
Supporting, mentoring, and guiding junior members of the team
