The individual must have virtual events experience and, ideally, have led or run virtual events themselves—not just supported or assisted others.
The successful candidate will also need to be comfortable operating in an environment where processes are still being established, as this is a transition phase for a new events unit as part of the exciting growth within our business development and marketing team.
This role operates as part of a newly created centralised events unit and will work closely with the Business Development, Brand and Marketing Communications teams as well as Partners, Directors and senior fee earners, to deliver high-quality innovative and impactful events execution aligned with agreed business development strategies, plans, budgets and target markets across the firm.
Work with key members of the Business Development team to develop and deliver an events programme aligned with service line plans and priorities and target markets
Actively contribute ideas for innovative event formats, venues and experiences that differentiate the firm in target markets and maximise client engagement through events and corporate hospitality
Help manage adherence to standardised workflows, governance processes and event best practices
Manage the end-to-end delivery of a broad range of events including: seminars, webinars, conferences, thought leadership events, roundtables (in-person, hybrid and virtual) and exhibition stands at industry conferences

Provide event support across the firm, in line with agreed service levels and quality standards across jurisdictions
Candidate must have 3–4 years’ experience in an events role, with responsibility for planning and delivering a broad range of corporate events simultaneously, including logistics, supplier coordination, budgeting, invitations and attendee management
Experience using relevant systems and platforms, including CRM, email marketing and event management tools
Tech savvy with high proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and geographies
